Background: 
The District is in the process of updating Board policies at the recommendation of the California School Boards Association.  Board Policy No. 6161.1, Selection and Evaluation of Instructional Materials has been updated to reflect those recommendations.

None.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve Board Policy No. 6161, Selection and Evaluation of Instructional Materials at first reading, as presented.
