Agenda Item Title:  Calendar for 2018-2019 School Year (10 minutes)

Background: 
The school calendar is a negotiated item under the collective bargaining agreement with the Mountain View Educators Association (MVEA).  A Calendar Committee composed of MVEA and district representatives met to develop the 2018-2019 school year calendar.  This calendar has also been reviewed by district leadership.  This calendar is aligned with the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District 2018-2019 calendar. The committee has finalized a calendar which is being presented for Board approval.

Fiscal Implication:
None.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve the 2018-2019 calendar, as presented.
