Background:
Background:
Phase 4 of the Mariano Castro and Gabriela Mistral Elementary School construction project includes a modular kindergarten building housing three kindergarten classrooms.
The District issued a Request for Proposals for modular building manufacturers for the subject project. On July 6, 2017, the District received one proposal from Enviroplex Inc. The District’s Measure G Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal and believes it is in the best value to the District to contract with Enviroplex based on pricing secured under the Las Lomitas School District Piggyback Contract.

Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve the selection of Enviroplex as the Modular Building Manufacturer Incorporating Las Lomitas School District Piggyback Contract for Mariano Castro and Gabriela Mistral Elementary School construction project, as in the best interest of the District pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20118 and District Board Policy No. 3311 and award the contract in the amount of $1,404,378.48 to Enviroplex.
