Agenda Item Title: Crittenden Middle School Track and Field Project Change Order No. 1 – Interstate Grading and Paving

Background:
During the Crittenden Middle School Track and Field and Permanente Creek Trail Extension Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $324,150. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Fiscal Implication:
The total construction contingency of $553,000 was budgeted for this project. Change Order #1 for $324,150 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $228,850 with 62% of the project complete.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 1, for the Crittenden Middle School Track and Field and Permanente Creek Trail Extension Project.
