Agenda Item Title:  District Response to the Grand Jury Report "Show Me the Money: School Parcel Tax Exemptions for Seniors and Homeowners with Disabilities" (10 minutes)

Background: 
The Santa Clare County Civil Grand Jury has issued a report entitled "Show Me the Money:  School Parcel Tax Exemptions for Seniors and Homeowners with Disabilities."  California Penal Code requires that the governing body of an agency that has been the subject of a Grand Jury final report shall respond within 90 days on the findings and recommendations pertaining to matters under the control of the governing body.   The District's response is attached for discussion.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve the District response to the Santa Clara County Grand Jury regarding the report "Show Me the Money: School Parcel Tax Exemptions for Seniors and Homeowners with Disabilities."
