Agenda Item Title:  Notice of Completion Graham Middle School Auditorium

Background: 

On December 10, 2015, the Board approved the construction contract for the Graham Middle School Auditorium and Site Improvements Project Increment 2 from Measure G funds.  The Board approved the award of the subject project to BHM Construction in the amount of $6,483,100.

 

Work on this project is now substantially complete.



Fiscal Implication:

The District currently holds retention in the amount of $339,216, or 5% of the contract value.  After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.



Recommended Action: 

That the Board of Trustees approve the filing of the Notice of Completion for the Graham Middle School Auditorium and Site Improvements Project Increment 2.
