Background:
On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $95,200 in 2020 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

1. BMR Health Services - Contracted services for Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Speech/Language Pathologist for 2020 - 2021 school year. $411,384.00
2. Ro Health - Contracted Aide support and case supervision. $225,180.00
Presented for review are the following contract(s):
1. Therapeutic Learning Consultants - Contracted aide support and case supervision for school year 2020 - 2021. $76,518.00
2. Emerson College Clinical Affiliation - Student teacher to engage in practical learning experiences under the supervision of assigned case load Speech and Language Pathologist for 2020 - 2021 school year. No fiscal impact.
3. Seesaw Learning - Online platform for student engagement, teacher support and family communication for 2020 - 2021 school year. $10,450.00
4. School Services of California Inc. - Fiscal budget services annual contract renewal. $3,840.00
5. Kate O'Malley - Training and Coaching Preschool teaching staff on elements of the QRIS Matrix for 2020 - 2021 school year. $13,650.00
6. Ascendancy Solutions Inc. - Contract for Technical Assistance Facilitator for 20/21 school year to help with monitoring and implementation of the CCEIS Plan. $1,000.00
