Background: 
A crime of hate is any crime committed due to the victim’s actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, mental disability, or physical disability. 


The Mountain View Whisman School District is opposed to violence in any form condemning hate and evil in all forms. It is committed to servicing the community most effectively and efficiently while continuing to build and reinforce the need for community partnership and trust while protecting the health, safety, and welfare of its community.

Fiscal Implication:
None.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board of Trustees approve Resolution No. 01-070220 Condemning Hate Crimes.
