Background: 
On June 4, 2020, Regular Board Meeting of Trustees Dr. Rudolph presented the feedback gathered by parents, staff, community members, and students (grade 5-8) in an online exchange of ideas about considerations and priorities for new middle school start times. 


Staff is seeking Board of Trustees approval to be in compliance with SB No. 328 beginning in 2021-2022 that MVWSD implements option 4 for both Crittenden and Graham Middle School start times as stated in the presentation and also change the start times for Castro, Mistral, Stevenson, Monta Loma, and Theuerkauf Elementary Schools. 

Fiscal Implication:
To be determined. 

Recommended Action: 
That the Board of Trustees approve option 4 for both Crittenden and Graham Middle School start times, and change the start times for Castro, Mistral, Stevenson, Monta Loma, and Theuerkauf Elementary Schools.
