Background: 
A recent discovery about our school's namesake, Frank L. Huff, has come to light. Mr. Huff held political and social views that are incongruent with our district values. Several parents and students have expressed how upsetting this news is. 

MVWSD will do our due diligence to find additional information about Mr. Huff and fill our commitments to every child, family, and staff member in Mountain View. 

Fiscal Implication:
None at this time. 

Recommended Action: 
Staff is seeking next steps from the Board of Trustees.
