Background:
On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $95,200 in 2020 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.
Presented for ratification are the following contract(s):
1. Goodfellow Occupational Therapy - Independent Contractor Services Agreement for 20/21 school year for Occupational Therapists to support students in Special Education. $460,800.00
2. The Stepping Stones Group - Vendor will provide contracted Bilingual Speech/Language Pathologist and Education Specialist (RSP). $257,529.60
3. CHAC - Provide Individual Counseling/Psycho-Educational Groups/Crisis and Grief Counseling to MVWSD students - to include the Village Program for Castro Elementary School. $360,000.00
4. Pacific Autism Center for Education - PACE Master Contract for Non-Public School Student Placement for 20/21 SY. $145,991.00
5. Advanced Medical Personnel - Contract staffing of Speech/Language Pathologist for 20/21 SY. $140,600.00
6. Creative Learning Center - Master Contract for Non-Public School Student Placement for 2020 - 2021 SY. $192.082.60

- Leadership Associates Peter Gorman - Organizational Development to provide strategic advice to increase student achievement and close achievement gaps $38,000.00
- ALULA - Administrative coaching $25,900.00
- Wheelehan School Business Consulting - Consultant to provide services to the bond program and business office to develop revenue generation proposals among other projects. $50,000.00
- Riso - Equipment lease and service agreement for 8 RISO Digital Duplicators at 7 school sites $30,562.00
