Agenda Item Title: Vargas 2-Story Modulars Notice of Completion

Background:
On June 1, 2017, the Board approved the construction contract for the Vargas Elementary School 2-Story Modular Building Project from Measure G funds. The Board approved the award of the project to Enviroplex, Inc. in the amount of $6,174,075.
Work on this project is now substantially complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The District currently holds retention in the amount of $308,703.75, or 5% of the contract value. After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve the filing of the Notice of Completion for the Vargas Elementary School 2-Story Modular Building Project.
