I.SCHOOL SHOWCASE - Bubb Elementary School

Principal Cyndee Nguyen and students of Bubb Elementary School shared its mission to inspire, empower, and prepare every student with their Big and Little Buddies program.

A motion was made by Jose Gutierrez and seconded by Ellen Wheeler to approve the Developer Mitigation Agreement with The Sobrato Organization (1255 Pear Avenue/North Bayshore Precise Plan), as presented.

The Board of Trustees heard the 2018-2019 Measure G Bond Program Audit Report presented by Christy White & Associates.
X.BOARD UPDATES

Ms. Wheeler:

1.     Attended the regular informal monthly lunch of the Santa Clara County School Boards Association.

2.     Attended the January meeting of Strong Start at the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

3.     Attended the January meeting of the PACT Foundation at Stevenson School.

4.     Attended the January Budget Workshop hosted by Capitol Advisors Group at the SCCOE.

5.     Attended the January meeting of the SCCSBA which featured a report by Superintendent Dr. Mary Ann Dewan on “The State of Santa Clara County Schools.”
