Agenda Item Title: Notice of Completion – Crittenden Middle School Track & Field and Permanente Creek Trail Extension and Track & Field Lighting

Background:
On March 16, 2017, the Board approved the construction contract for the Crittenden Middle School Track & Field and Permanente Creek Trail Extension and Track & Field Lighting from Measure G funds. The Board approved the award of the subject projects Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc. in the amount of $5,553,000.
Work on this project is now substantially complete.
Fiscal Implication: The District currently holds retention in the amount of $292,707.50, or 5% of the contract value. After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.
Recommended Action: That the Board of Trustees approve the filing of the Notices of Completion for the Crittenden Middle School Track & Field and Permanente Creek Trail Extension and Track & Field Lighting Project.
