Agenda Item Title: Monta Loma Phase 3 Administration and Roofing Project Change Order #1-Beals Martin

Background:
During the Monta Loma Elementary School Phase 3 Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $379,216 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $280,876 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $98,340 with 99% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $280,876. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Monta Loma Elementary School Phase 3 Project.
