Agenda Item Title: Bubb, Huff, and Landels School Modernization Projects Phase 2 Change Order No. 1– Rodan Builders

Background:
During the Bubb Elementary School, Huff Elementary School and Landels Elementary School Modernization Projects Phase 2, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $1,801,977 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $554,018 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $1,247,959 with 85% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $554,018. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Bubb Elementary School, Huff Elementary School and Landels Elementary School Modernization Projects Phase 2.
