Background:
At the April 5, 2018 Board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Rodan Builders, Inc. for the Slater (Vargas) Elementary School New Construction Sitework-Phase 1 Project in the amount of $7,190,828 inclusive of the 7% contingency. The Board is now asked to approve the amendment 1 to the facilities lease to reflect the addition of Increment #3 – Slater (Vargas) Multi-Use Room in the amount of $4,197,675 inclusive of the 5% contingency.
Fiscal Implication:
The amended Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Rodan Builders, Inc. will be $11,388,503 with all costs to be charged to Fund 40 Certificates of Participation (COP).
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 1 of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract for the Slater (Vargas) Elementary School (Vargas) New Construction Sitework, Phase 1 Project and authorize the Superintendent to sign the Site and Facilities Lease Agreements.
