Background:
The attached document is a tentative agreement between the Mountain View Education Association and the Mountain View Whisman School District. Highlights of this agreement include the following:
- 5% salary increase for all certificated personnel
- $2,000 stipend for two of the following degrees or certifications: Master's, Doctorate, National Board Certification
- MVEA membership unanimously ratified this Tentative Agreement on August 20, 2018
Fiscal Implication:
$1,405,000 (5% salary increase) and $286,000 (stipends)
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve the Tentative Agreement with the Mountain View Educators Association and the revised Mountain View Educators Association salary schedule, as presented.
