Agenda Item Title: Notice of Completion – District Office New Construction Project Demolition & Abatement

Background:
On August 23, 2018, the Board approved the construction contract for the Demo & Abatement for Construction of New District Office from Measure G funds. The Board approved the award of the subject projects Premier Builders, Inc. in the amount of $257,616.
Work on this project is now substantially complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The District currently holds retention in the amount of $12,880, or 5% of the contract value. After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.
Recommended Action: That the Board approve the filing of the Notices of Completion for the Demo & Abatement for Construction of New District Office Project.
