Background:
Summer 2018 was a very busy summer for all sites in the District. Crittenden was the location for the District's summer school program. The remaining ten sites were under construction of varying degrees.
A few highlights of each site:
Castro - new school
Mistral - demolition of the existing MUR to make way for new kindergarten complex, new vehicle drop off lane
Castro/Mistral - new shared MUR and Library, and a new playground
Bubb/Huff/Landels - modernized classrooms, new MUR
Graham - completion of the new courtyard with theater seating
Monta Loma - remodeled administration and new roofing
Stevenson - new school, MUR under construction
Theuerkauf - modernized classrooms, MUR under construction
Vargas - site grading completed, building foundations started
Staff will present a review of the summer 2018 capital projects construction.
An up-to-date presentation will be available at the Board meeting.
