Agenda Item Title: Approve Amendment No. 1 of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Coulter Construction, Inc. for the Theuerkauf Elementary School Classroom, Administration and Library Buildings-Increment 1 Project (5 minutes)

Background:
At the April 19, 2018 Board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Coulter Construction, Inc. for the Theuerkauf Elementary School Classroom, Administration and Library Buildings-Increment 1 Project. The Exhibit C to the facilities lease included with the documents approved on April 19 listed the lease payments as a total of 10% of the contract which equates to $687,503 including interest.However, per the Request for Qualifications/Proposal (RFQP) response submitted by Coulter Construction for the project, the lease payments were to be 5% of the contract value which total $343,751 including interest. The Board is now asked to approve the amendment 1 to the facilities lease to reflect that 5% value.
Fiscal Implication:
There is no impact to the contract value or to the overall project budget.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 1 of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract for the Theuerkauf Elementary School Classroom, Administration and Library Buildings-Increment 1 Project and authorize the Superintendent to sign the Site and Facilities Lease Agreements.
