Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New Multi-Use Room and Library Additions Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $54,505.00. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Fiscal Implication:
The total construction contingency budgeted for this project was $474,300.
Change Order #1 for $54,505 will reduce the contingency amount to $419,795, with 89% contingency remaining and 20% of the project complete.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Stevenson Phase 4 MUR/Library Project Change Order #1 in the amount of $54,505.
