Agenda Item Title: Stevenson Elementary School Phase 2, Increment 2 Electrical and Low Voltage Project Change Order No. 1 – Vanden Bos Electric

Background: During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 2, Increment 2 Electrical and Low Voltage Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $55,520.00. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Fiscal Implication:
The total construction contingency budgeted for this project was $90,980.
Change Order #1 for $55,520 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $35,460, with 39% contingency remaining and 12% of the project complete.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Stevenson Phase 2, Increment 2 Electrical and Low Voltage Project Change Order #1 for $55,520.
