Agenda Item Title: Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 2, Increment 1 Sitework Project Change Order No. 2 – Galeb Paving

Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 2, Increment 1 Sitework Project unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The contingency monies required for Change Order #2 will not exceed $71,020. A summary of Change Order #2 is attached.
Fiscal Implication:
The total construction contingency budgeted for this project was $370,200.
Change Order #1 for $246,208 was approved on February 1, 2018.
Change Order #2 for $71,020 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $52,972, with 14% contingency remaining and 55% of the project complete.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve the Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 2, Increment 1 Sitework Project Change Order 2 in the amount of $71,020.
