Background:
On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $88,300 in 2017 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

- Community School of Music and Art - 10-week 30 minute music classes for Independent Study Program, $475.00 Contract 1
- Community School of Music and Art Addendum - 24 music classes for Independent Study Program, $3705.00 Contract 2
- Document Tracking Services - License to use web-based application for LCAP, $8,144.00
- Emily Chang - After-school STEM program (science, math, technology & engineering) for Theuerkauf student's K-2nd, $2500.00
- Imagineerz Learning - Engineering, Design Thinking lessons for first graders at Huff School, no cost to MVWSD
- Foothill De Anza College (STK) - Stretch to Kinder Program @ Graham, $71,903.00
- Heart2Heart Teens - Workshop for parents through the Parent Projcet curriculum for both Castro and Mistral School, $14,850.00
- Just READ - Amendment to original Memorandum of Understanding to include fee of $15,000.00. Each site to be charged $5,000, i.e., Monta Loma, Crittenden, and Theuerkauf
- Olimpico Learning - Academic Summer Program at Theuerkauf School - 5 classrooms $80,000 and Castro School - 4 classrooms $64,000 w/130 students at each site
- PG&E - New gas and electric service for Castro Phase 2, $2,111.10
- Run for Fun Camps - Lunch time activities and games at Bubb School, no cost to MVWSD
- Sutcliffe Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics - Independent Educational Evaluation for a special needs student, $7,000.00
