Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 2 – Increment 1 Sitework Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. Change Order No. 1 will not exceed $246,208. A summary of Change Order No. 1 is attached.
The total construction contingency of $370,200 was budgeted for this project.
Fiscal Implication:
A total construction contingency of $370,200 is budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for $246,208 results in a remaining contingency balance of $123,992. To date, 30% of the project is complete.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 1, for the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 2 – Increment 1 Sitework Project.
