Background:
The Middle School Schedule Task Force has been working for over a year to develop a new schedule which allows every student to have a choice elective. This work is outlined in Goal 2 of the District's strategic plan. The Board heard a presentation at the last two meetings on the recommendation for a new schedule for middle schools beginning in the 2018-19 school year.

To be determined.
Recommended Action:
That the Board approve the 8-period cascading schedule for the middle schools beginning in the 2018-19 school year.
