Background:
During the Staff Housing Project, unforeseen conditions, jurisdictional requirements and owner requested changes have resulted in the use of the Owners contingency. Now that the project has been completed, the balance of the owners contingency and contractor contingency are being refunded back to the District.
Change Order No. 18 will decrease the District's contract with Palisade Builders by ($430,096.24).
Change Order No.1 and No. 2 for this project there were no cost contingency adjustments.
Change Order No.3 for $283,852 increased the contract amount to $68,071,138.55.
Change Order No.4, No.5, and No.6 for this project were no cost contingency adjustments.
Change Order No.7 for $131,762.79 increased the contract amount to $68,202,901.34.
Change Order No.8 for $215,606.99 increased the contract amount to $68,418,508.33.
Change Order No.9 for this project was a no cost contingency adjustment.
Change Order No.10 for ($492,501.81) decreased the contract amount to $67,926,006.52.
Change Order No.11 for this project was a no cost contingency adjustment.
Change Order No.12 for $167,225.23 increased the contract amount to $68,093,231.75.
Change Order No.13, No. 14, No.15 and No. 16 for this project were no cost contingency adjustments.
Change Order No.17 for $136,507.46 increased the contract amount to $68,229,739.21.
Change Order No.18 for ($430,096.24) will decrease the contract amount to $67,799,642.97
Change Order No. 18 is the final change order for the project.
Fiscal Implication:
None. This contract is charged to Measure T.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No.18 for Palisade Builders for the Staff Housing Project.
