Agenda Item Title: (Action) Health and Wellness Mental Health Continuum

Background:
On May 8, 2025 staff brought forth recommendations for SEL Curriculum adoption, data management tool, and community partnership agreement. Staff is seeking approval of these recommendations as noted below:
- Adopt CharacterStrong as district SEL Curriculum
- Utilize Panorama as SEL data management tool.
- Continue partnering with Project Cornerstone.
The following contracts are associated with this recommendation:
- CharacterStrong, LLC - Will provide PK-8 SEL Curriculum and intervention material for 2025-2026 through 2027-2028 school years, $92,190.60
- Panorama Education, Inc - Will provide digital platform for SEL surveys, data, and intervention management, $35,000
- Project Cornerstone - Renews MVWSD community partnership MOU to provide a menu of SEL and mental health services and resources, $12,705. Contract will be brought to the Board June 12.
Fiscal Implication:
Not to exceed $140,000
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt CharacterStrong Curriculum, Panorama, and Project Cornerstone as part of the District's comprehensive SEL programming, as presented.
