Background: 

CSBA advises districts of recommended changes in board policies, administrative regulations, and board bylaws to assist boards in keeping their policies current and reflecting all recent changes in laws and regulations. 

At the May 8, 2025, Regular Board Meeting, Trustees approved the recommended changes to the following Board Policies and Board Bylaws:

• BP 5141.52 Suicide Prevention
• BP 6159 Individual Education Program
• BP 6159.2 Nonpublic Nonsectarian School and Agency for Special Education 
• BB 9224 Oath of Affirmation
• BB 9260 Legal protection
