Agenda Item Title:  (Discussion) First Reading-Board Policies Updates

Background: 

CSBA advises districts of recommended changes in board policies, administrative regulations, and board bylaws to assist boards in keeping their policies current and reflecting all recent changes in laws and regulations. 

Updating MVWSD's policies with CSBA recommendations will align the district's policies with the California Ed Code and state and/or federal law.

A portion of the March policies is attached, along with the California School Board Association's recommended revisions. The Policy Committee reviewed the policies at its April 16, 2025, meeting and is bringing them for First Reading and the Trustees' review.
