Background: 
May 1, 2025 marks the beginning of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. MVWSD recognizes the importance of honoring the achievements of our Asian American Pacific Islander community members and reflecting thoughtfully on the history of pain and oppression they endured and that continues. We honor them this month ad infinitum.

Recommended Action: 
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 04-042425, A Resolution In Support of Recognizing Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, as presented.
