Agenda Item Title:  (Action) Approval of OMNIA Partners Public Sector Master Contract Supplemental Agreement with Resource Design Interiors for the Staff Housing Project Loose Furniture Purchase

Background: 

As part of the Staff Housing Project, the District is responsible for providing loose furniture needed for the common spaces within the building.  Those spaces include the lobby, leasing office, resident lounge, co-working room, craft room and outdoor furniture at the roof deck and outdoor lounge area.  Resource Design Interiors (RDI) has provided a plan and proposal to procure the needed furniture under an OMNIA Partners Public Sector Master Contract Agreement which the District can utilize as a competitively bid contract by way of this supplemental contract agreement.  This process has been utilized by the District previous and is similar to a Joint Purchase Agreement (JPA) or California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) agreement.  District legal counsel has reviewed the purchasing agreement and associated documents for validity.



Fiscal Implication:

The proposal received from RDI  totals $174,315.83 and is within budget for Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) for this project.  This contract is charged to Measure T. 



Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the OMNIA Partners Public Sector Master Contract Supplemental Agreement with Resource Design Interiors for the Staff Housing Project Loose Furniture Purchase.
