Background: 

In order to ensure transparency and the prudent expenditure of public funds, the Board, Superintendent or designee shall award contracts in an objective manner and in accordance with law.

The following language had been added to Administrative Regulation No. 3311, Bids:
Purchasing processes and procedures will be reviewed periodically by the Board. Any substantial changes will be brought to the Board for approval.

Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Administrative Regulation No. 3311 Bids, at first reading, as presented.
