Background: 
November 1, 2024 marks the beginning of National Native American Heritage Month. MVWSD recognizes the importance of honoring the achievements of our Native American community members and reflecting thoughtfully on the history of pain and oppression they endured and that continues. We honor them this month ad infinitum.

Fiscal Implication:
None at this time.

Recommended Action: 
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 01-110724, A Resolution In Support of Recognizing National Native American Heritage Month, as presented.
