Background:
The Mountain View Whisman School District, in accordance with Labor Code, has developed a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan that is intended to protect employees from workplace violence and includes measures such as prohibiting retaliation, responding to violence reports, conducting hazard assessments, providing training, and maintaining a Violent Incident Log.
Staff provided an initial overview of the plan on September 5, 2024 and are bringing the plan back for approval.

Staff recommend that the Board of Trustees approve the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan as presented.
