Agenda Item Title: Change Order No. 1: Vargas Tree Replacement Project, Marina Landscaping

Background:
During the Vargas Tree Replacement Project, unforeseen conditions and design revisions have occurred, resulting in revisions to the scope of the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. A construction contingency of $27,000.00 has been budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for $4,801.07 will increase the Marina Landscaping contract amount to $274,801.20.
Fiscal Implication:
The monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $4,801.07. After Change Order No. 1, the balance remaining in the construction contingency will be $22,198.93.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 1 for the Vargas Tree Replacement Project.
