Background:
Staff presented the Curriculum Adoption Committee's recommendation at the May 16, 2024 Board of Trustees meeting and is requesting that the Board of Trustees approve the recommended curriculums for grades PK/TK and K-5. The report on the adoption process that was shared on May 16 is included for reference.
Fiscal Implication:
Approximate Cost for PK/TK Savvas Three Cheers Curriculum: $100,000
Approximate Cost for K-5 Amplify CKLA Curriculum: $2,200,000
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Savvas Three Cheers Curriculum for PK/TK and Amplify CKLA Curriculum for grades K-5.
