The District is in the process of updating Board policies at the recommendation of the California School Boards Association, Board Policy 6174, Education of English Language Learners has been updated to reflect those recommendations.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Board Policy 6174, Education of English Language Learners at first reading, as presented.
