Background: 

On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.

All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an item of expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days.  The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $114,500 in 2024 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

Presented for ratification are the following contract(s):

1. Acknowledge Alliance- Will provide SEL consultation/support at each MVWSD school for the 2024-2025, $518,004.00.
2. ALULA- Will provide coaching, leadership assessment, direct observation and sustainability plan. $270,450.00.
3. Amplify- Will provide K-5 ELA Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts quote for adopted materials from July 1, 2024 trough June 30, 2032, $1,533,050.89.
4. Amplify- Will provide a Core Knowledge Language Arts Language Studio adoption materials for the 2024-2025 school year, $138,421.00.
5. Amplify- Will provide a K-5 Amplify Caminos Language Arts adoption materials for the 2024-2025 school year, $205,193.00.
6. BMR Health Services- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $624,960.00.
7. Bonami Bakery Company Inc.- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of baked goods, $200,000.00.
8. California Department of Education/California State Preschool Program- Will provide a California State Preschool Program contract renewal for 2024-2025 funding, $2,080,613.00.
9. Children's Health Council- Esther B Clark Schools Palo Alto & South Bay- Will provide Non-Public School placement for SPED students 2024-2025, $954,982.00.
10. Crystal Creamery Inc.- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of dairy products, $200,000.00.
11. EdTheory LLC- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $152,256.00.
12. Gold Star Foods- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of groceries and commodities, $250,000.00.
13. HopSkipDrive Inc- Will provide transportation services to support SPED department with student transportation during the 2024-2025 school year, $205,854.00.
14. INVO Health Care Associates, LLC- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2023-2024 school year, $693,900.00.

16. Mountain View Los Altos High School District- Professional Exchange MOU for temporary loan of a MVLA Professional Contractor to perform services in support of MVWSD Audiology program $170,236
17. Pacific Autism Center for Education- Will provide Non-Public School placement for SPED students for the 2024-2025 school year, $151,476.00.
18. Pacific Rim Produce- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of produce, $160,000.00.
19. RoHealth LLC- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $693,900.00.
20. Speech Therapy Link Inc- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $455,040.00.
21. Sysco Food Services San Francisco- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of groceries, $450,000.00.
22. The Danielsen Company, Inc.- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of groceries, $200,000.00.
23. The Stepping Stone Group, LLC- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $148,357.00.
24. Welldom Inc- Will provide contract staffing for SPED for the 2024-2025 school year, $205,646.00.

Presented for review are the following contract(s): 

1. Adroit Advanced Technologies- Will provide transportation services to support SPED department with student transportation for the 2024-2025 school year, $77,716.00.
2. Amplify- Will provide a Professional Development training for Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts adoption materials from July 1, 2024 trough June 30, 2025, $25,600.00.
3. Cole Supply Company LLC dba Brady IFS- Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of paper supplies, $25,000.00.
4. Communicaid, Inc.- Will provide interpreting/translating services for SPED meetings during the 2024-2025 school year, $5,000.00.
5. Dannis Woliver Kelley (DWK)- District appoints Attorney to represent, advise and counsel. Fee based on services provided by mutual agreement for special projects or particular scopes of work from 2024-2026 school years.
6. Diggs Chavis Associates- Facilitation of one hundred sixty (160) one-on-one or group guided meditation sessions for District Leadership Team members. Sessions are customized to the participant’s need and include education and strategies for daily stress relief. $189,000
7. Janelle Cameron Consulting- Will provide Professional Development for ELD Middle school teachers and Elementary Newcomer teachers between August of 2024 through June of 2025, $13,000.00.
8. Kate O'Malley- Will provide Early Education Coaching for State Preschool program for the 2024-2025 school year, $25,000.00.
9. Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC- Will provide a Professional Development for preschool staff for the 2024-2025 school year, $11,250.00.
10. Mentor Tutor Connection- Will train, recruit, and support volunteers who provide tutoring services for K-8th grade MVWSD students during the 2024-2025 school year, $10,000.00.
11. Mountain View Los Altos High School District- Will provide a Professional Expert Contract Professional Exchange between MVLAHSD and MVWSD for the loan of a professional contractor to perform services in support of Deaf/Hard of Hearing program for MVWSD for the 2024-2025 school year, $104,652.00.
12. Peter Gorman Leadership Associates-Executive Support and Organizational Development is to ensure success of the superintendent and leadership team. $56,000.
13. Playworks Education Energized- Will provide an on-site programmatic launch, training, in-person consultation services that will teach strategies, games, and systems to develop and sustain in a positive educational culture for all Castro Elementary students from August 19, 2024 through May 30, 2025, $62,000.00.
14. Playworks Education Energized- Will provide an on-site programmatic launch, training, in-person consultation services that will teach strategies, games, and systems to develop and sustain in a positive educational culture for all Landels Elementary students from August 19, 2024 through May 30, 2025, $32,000.00.
15. Pine Hill Schools- Second Start Learning Disabilities Program- Will provide Non-Public School placement for SPED students for the 2024-2025 school year, $73,640.00.
16. P&R Paper Supply Company Inc.-Will provide a contract extension for the 2024-2025 school year for the purchase of paper supplies, $100,000.00.
17. Santa Clara County Office of Education- Will provide a 2023-2024 Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) Block Grant to State Preschool program (CSPP), Grant Funds $47,735.12.
18. Santa Clara County Office of Education- Will provide Library of Record services for the 2024-2025 school year, $6,963.00.
19. Santa Clara County Office of Education- Will provide MVWSD Preschool to participate in the Inclusion Collaborative Professional Learning Opportunities, Coaching, and Technical Support services to include Teaching Pyramid training during the 2024-2025 school year, $9,715.00.
20. SAVVAS- Will provide a quote for purchase of PreK Three  Cheers 2022 Comprehensive Package with 8 year Digital Licenses for the Pre-K ELA Curriculum Adoption from 2024-2032, $40,931.00.
21. SAVVAS- Will provide a quote for TK 2022 Comprehensive Package with 8 year Digital Licenses for the TK ELA Curriculum Adoption from 2024-2032, $52,372.00.
22. Testing Engineers, Inc.- Will provide special testing and inspection for the HVAC Modernization and Replacement Project at Theuerkauf, Monta Loma, and Crittenden from January 2025 through August 2025, $5,922.00.
23. U&R Underwood & Rosenblum, Inc.- Will provide a detailed topographic survey of a specific area at Crittenden Middle School, $9,500.00.
24. Wheelehan School Business Consulting- Will provide consulting services to the Chief Business Officer of MVWSD for the 2024-2025 school year, Not to exceed $17,500.00.
