Background: 

On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.

All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an item of expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days.  The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $114,500 in 2024 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

Presented for ratification are the following contract(s):

1. County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services Department (School Linked Services)- Will provide School Linked Services Program, including Family Engagement, Prevention and Early Intervention Program, and SLS Outpatient Program for the 2024-2025, Payable to MVWSD $193,522.00.
2. Zayo Group, LLC- Will provide dark fiber from the District's network operation center to the new staff housing, Non recurring charge of $165,000.00 & monthly recurring charge of $530.00.

Presented for review are the following contract(s): 

1. Axiom Analytix- Will provide preparation of the District's 2023-2024 school activity entitled School Accountability Report Card (SARCS) for the 2024-2025 school year, $11,550.00.
2. Camfel Productions, Inc.- Will provide multi-media and in-person assemblies for all students at Monta Loma Elementary that focuses on motivating students to learn new things, set short-term goals, demonstrate determination, and taking on tough tasks on May 20, 2024, $1,625.00.
3. David Taussig and Associates, Inc.- Will provide consulting services to assist in administration of parcel tax exemptions for the 2024-2025 school year, Not to exceed $2,650.00.
4. Imagineerz Learning- Will provide license to access STEM curriculum for kinder through 5th grade to use during summer session from June 1, 2024 through July 30, 2024, $24,600.00.
5. Literably- Will provide a license renewal for reading assessments for the 2024-2025 school year, $22,752.65.
6. Meta Solutions- Provide PowerSchool Customization Catalog 3 year agreement July 2024-June 2027 $4,860 per year.
7. Mobile Nerf Gun Party LLC- Will provide rental, delivery, and service of equipment for a foam cannon party for 5th grade students at Bubb Elementary on May 29, 2024, $440.00.
