Background: 

District staff is recommending that the Board review the updated 1330 Board Policy and associated Administrative Regulation related to the use of school facilities by other groups, including the use of the District fields.  Some of the changes are based on facilitating the District’s joint use of its fields with the City of Mountain View and to clarify District staff’s ability to manage the use of District’s facilities, including the fees to be charged.  The Administrative Regulation includes the current Fee Schedule, which District staff will update as its costs increase.

None.



Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees (1) Perform the first reading of Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 1330 (Use of School Facilities) (“BP & AR 1330”); (2) Waive the second reading of BP & AR 1330, pursuant to Board Bylaw 9310; (3) Adopt the updated BP & AR 1330; and (4) Cancel Board Policy 1330.1(Use of School Fields) which is now covered in BP & AR 1330.
