Background:
This policy recognizes that smoking and other uses of tobacco and nicotine products constitute a serious public health hazard and are inconsistent with District goals to provide a healthy environment for students and staff. This policy also includes vaping among other tobacco products.

None.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Board Policy (BP) 3513.3 Tobacco-Free Schools at first reading, as presented.
