Background:
November 1, 2023 marks the beginning of National Native American Heritage Month. MVWSD recognizes the importance of honoring the contributions, the heritage, and history of our Indigenous community members, reflecting thoughtfully on the history of pain and oppression they endured and that continues. We honor them this month ad infinitum.
