Background: 
The Human Resources Department posted for a part-time music teacher in May 2023. This posting remained unfilled as of the start of the school year. A variable term waiver will allow Hyun Suk Jang to instruct and supervise the music program at Crittenden Middle School while she completes credentialing requirements.

Recommended Action: 
It is recommended that the Mountain View Whisman School District Board of Trustees approve a variable term waiver for Hyun Suk Jang, music teacher, for the 2023-24 school year.
