Agenda Item Title: Request for Approval of RFP#2023-24-03 Paper Supplies for 2023-2024 School Year

Background:
Child Nutrition Services Program (CNS) solicited RFP#2023-24-03 SPS for Paper Supplies for school year 2023-24 following the federal competitive bid procedures for non-commodity commercial and grocery food items used to support child feeding programs. RFP#2023-24-03 SPS for Paper Supplies for school year 2023-24 was publicized for two weeks and was mailed to P&R Paper Supply Co., Gold Star Foods, BradyIFS, Danielson, and Cole Supply.
On Bid Opening Day, we had received complete proposals from P&R Paper, Gold Star Foods, and BradyIFS.
Fiscal Implication:
We anticipate the bid award portions as follows:
IFS: $1,030
P&R: $43,927
All quantities are estimated
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the bid and contract for RFP#2023-24-03 for 2023-2024 across two vendors, IFS and P&R Paper based on proposal scoring and price.
