Background:
The Board will consider for rejection all bids received for the Storage Buildings at Various Sites project.
On April 11, 2023, the District received contractor bids for the HVAC Controls Upgrade Phase 4 Project. One (1) proposal was received, and the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder was Foothill Air Conditioning and Heating.
The construction budget for this project was $450,000.00. The bid received from Foothill Air Conditioning and Heating was $1,940,500.00.
Foothill Air Conditioning and Heating's Bid is $1,490,500.00 over the construction budget.
Fiscal Implication:
There is no impact to the overall project budget.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees reject all bids for the HVAC Controls Upgrade Phase 4 Project.
