Background:
Staff is recommending that the District update the job description for Teacher on Special Assignment for the Special Education department. The role of the TOSA is to support special education and general education teachers in improving instructional practices, planning and organizing curriculum and instruction to ensure that instructional services respond to the needs of students with special needs.

That the Board of Trustees approves the updated job description for the Teacher on Special Assignment, Special Education as presented.
