Agenda Item Title: Award of Contract to Ron Paris Construction Co. for the Vargas ES New Roll-Up Door Project

Background:
The Board will consider awarding a contract for the Vargas ES New Roll-Up Door Project. On February 28th, 2023, the District received contractor bids for the Vargas ES New Roll-Up Door Project. Two (2) proposals were received, and the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder is Ron Paris Construction Co, Inc. The District's Measure T Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
Fiscal Implication:
The construction budget for this project was $101,855.00. The bid received from Ron Paris Construction Co, Inc. is in the amount of $95,617.00. The bid amount is within the budget for the project. This contract is charged to Measure T funds.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the contract to Ron Paris Construction Co, Inc. for the Vargas ES New Roll-Up Door Project.
