Background:
During the HVAC Modernization and Replacement Phase 2 project, unforeseen conditions and design revisions have occurred, resulting in revisions to the scope of the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. A construction contingency of $433,900 has been budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for $101,854.00 increased the BRCO Constructors, Inc. contract amount to $4,440,854.00.
Change Order No. 2 for $13,807.00 will increase the BRCO Constructors, Inc. contract amount to $4,454,66100.
Fiscal Implication:
The monies required for Change Order No. 2 will not exceed $13,807. After Change Order No. 2, the balance remaining in the construction contingency will be $318,239.
Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 2 for the HVAC Modernization and Replacement Phase 2 Project.
